Goodbye to Joyce and hello to KatyMonday 18th June, 2007
As some of you may have heard we have sadly come to the end of an era here at Runnymede. After many long happy years we are very sad to say goodbye to Joyce Murray. Joyce joined the practice nearly ten years ago and over her time here has become a firm favourite with many clients both at Runnymede in Egham and also at our Chobham Road branch in Sunningdale, in part due to her excellent client skills and great compassion towards animals. She has also undertaken a major role in our veterinary care of many quarantined and export animals through her duties at Heathrow airport.
Joyce is leaving us to join a practice in Hampshire and although we are sad to see her go wish her all the very best of luck for the future! Keep in touch Joyce!
Fear not however, as in true Runnymede fashion, we are replacing Joyce,(a small female scot), with you've guessed it....another small, female scot!
Welcome to Katy Gemmel, who joined the Runnymede Team this month. Katy trained in Glasgow and qualified 5 years ago. After working in briefly in Glasgow and Norfolk, she made the move to the southeast 3 years ago. Katy has a particular interest in small animal cardiology and we are very pleased to welcome her to the team...she's only been here a couple of weeks but already is fitting in very well with the nurses and vets alike!
