Goodbye Sharon and Good Luck!!Monday 6th November, 2006
Last week we had to say a very sad goodbye to our head nurse, Sharon Tongue. Sharon has been at Runnymede for 9 years, starting her training here in 1997 and slowly working her way up the ranks to head nurse in 2001. She not only has been a fantastic nurse to work with, but has been a very firm favourite with many of our clients, taking the time to get to know both them and thier pets. She has played a major role in the training of numerous student nurses, passing on knowlegde and techniques and helping with their college work and the all important revision panics leading up to exams.
She has led a strong team of nurses and also has been to known to keep the vets in order too!!
She is leaving us for new challenges, and will be changing career to working for a large drug company, so we're hoping she'll still come back and visit!
Runnymede will be sad to lose her, but I'm sure everyone here, staff and clients alike, wishes her luck for the future and her new career!
