September is Pet Smile MonthTuesday 15th August, 2006
We are inviting all our clients with pets over 7 years old along to the hospital for a free dental check up. Our aim in doing this is to enable us to detect any early dental problems your pet may have. We will then be able to advise if any dental treatment is required, and an estimate generated of the likely costs involved. We will also be able to answer any questions you may have on oral care.
Dental disease causes the build up of bacteria in the mouth, which can enter the blood stream. Research shows that, left untreated, this can lead to the development of heart, liver and kidney problems. Owners often report a definate improvement in the general demeanour of their pet following dental treatment.
If you would like to take part in Pet Smile month, please contact the surgery to book an appointment for your free dental check up.
