New faces at Pets 1st

Wednesday 9th July, 2008

We sadly said goodbye to Elvin last week as he has been persuaded to return to the Royal Veterinary School to take up a residency. This will ultimately make him a surgical specialist after 3years of hard work -we would all like to wish him luck and thank him for his hard work at Runnymede Vets.
Replacing him has not been easy but we have managed to employ not one but two excellent candidates who will start in August and add to our excellent team of vets. We will twist their arms to write their own introduction after they start (with photos!) but I can tell you that Hannah McKerchar comes originally from Yorkshire -she qualified 5 years ago from Liverpool University and has an infectious enthusiasm for all aspects of medicine and especially surgery. She recently returned from travelling and working her way around the world -her wundrlust satisfied she is looking forward to putting roots down in Runnymede.
Our other new face is Nick Haley -a 2000 graduate from Cambridge University where he was a class mate of Kate Tunleys. Nick is originally a local lad whos parents are still based in Cobham. He is another great allrounder and is enrolled in the certificate of diagnostic imaging which will gives him expertise in interpreting xrays and ultrasound scanning.
We will be sure to introduce them fully soon after they start.
